Good to know.

Where should I eat in Richmond?

Start in the City Centre blocks around Alexandra Road and the food courts, where the dumpling, noodle and barbecue rooms cluster. Steveston covers the seafood side: fish and chips on the wharf and whatever the boats brought in that morning.

When is the Richmond Night Market on?

Summer weekends, roughly late April through mid October, next to Bridgeport Station. Go hungry, bring cash for the stalls, and expect a line after dark. Check the events rail above for this week’s dates.

What is there to do in Richmond besides eating?

Walk or ride the West Dyke Trail to Garry Point for the best sunset in the region, tour the Gulf of Georgia Cannery in Steveston, or watch planes land over Larry Berg Flight Path Park on Sea Island.
