Not for the good parts. The SeaBus lands at Lonsdale Quay beside the market and the Shipyards, and buses run up Lonsdale and out to Lynn Canyon and Grouse. Trails deeper into Seymour are the main car-only territory.
Lynn Canyon gives you a suspension bridge, waterfalls and swimming holes for free; Capilano is bigger, more built and ticketed. Locals default to Lynn Canyon and go early on summer weekends.
Summer Friday nights bring the night market with food trucks and live music on the waterfront; the rest of the year the plaza still has the breweries, restaurants and the skating rink in winter, with the downtown skyline across the water.
