The Story
Death is not easy to talk about, but it is a part of life. Talking about death can help transform our relationship to aging, mortality, and dying, and may also help transform the way we live, one conversation at a time. The Death Cafe is a safe space to have these conversations, and explore our relationship to death in our own lives and the lives of our loved ones. This is not a therapy session or grief support group. The first Death Cafe was held in 2011 in London, England. They have been held regularly ever since in communities all over the world. Come join us for Richmond's very own Death Cafe and let's start talking! Accessibility RPL is working to reduce barriers and offer programs where everyone can participate equitably.
