EXIT Burnaby Halloween 2026: The Unfinished Nightmare

The Story

This Halloween, some stories refuse to stay unfinished. The Unfinished Nightmare takes over EXIT Burnaby with four escape room experiences and four very different ways to test your nerves. Three rooms have been completely redesigned for Halloween with brand-new stories and puzzles, while one remains scare-free for families, mixed-age groups and anyone who prefers mystery without the horror. What to Expect Choose your door: The Unburied: Narrative and tragic horror, difficulty 4/4, recommended 16+ The Undying: Occult and supernatural horror, difficulty 4/4, recommended 13+ The Unweighed: Atmospheric and tactile horror, difficulty 3/4, recommended 13+ The Unchanged: A mysterious, non-scary adventure for all ages, difficulty 3/4 Each private escape room runs for 50 minutes and accommodates 2 to 6 players. The three Halloween rooms use darkness, sound and sudden effects to build the scares, with no performers chasing or touching guests and no strobe lighting. Registration Tickets are $34 per person, per room. Multi-room Halloween passes are also available in person. Three of the four rooms are wheelchair accessible; The Unburied is the exception. Lighting and sound levels can also be adjusted on request.
