Halloween Hunt in City of Lougheed

Grab the kids, grab your costume (optional, but we won’t judge), and come hunt with us — the Halloween Hunt is back at The City of Lougheed for the whole month of October, and it’s one of our favourite ways to kick off the season in Burnaby. Here’s how it works: pick up a themed “BOO-k” and follow the trail of clues hidden among the Halloween displays scattered throughout the shopping centre. Solve the puzzles, spot the details, work as a team. Finish the hunt, and a complimentary Halloween treat awaits you at the end — because a job well hunted deserves a reward. It’s completely free, it’s self-guided so you can go at your own pace, and it’s built with younger explorers in mind (12 and under), though honestly, we’ve seen plenty of parents get just as competitive over the clues. Along the way, you’ll wind past some of the shops and eateries that make The City of Lougheed such a great neighbourhood to explore — so take your time, say hi to the local businesses, and make a whole afternoon of it. Ready to start hunting? Stop by The City of Lougheed any day in October to pick up your BOO-k and begin.
