About
This is the primary BC Ferries terminal for vehicle and walk-on passenger service between the mainland and island destinations like Nanaimo and Bowen Island. Adjacent to the ferry docks, a one-hectare park provides a place to wait with washrooms, a playground, and picnic tables, while the pier is a good spot for watching the boats come and go.

🚇 Transit
Due to the absence of specific TransLink bus routes, visitors are advised to plan their journey to Horseshoe Bay using the TransLink trip planner. The nearest major public transit hub would likely involve a connection from a SkyTrain station such as Waterfront, or a SeaBus terminal, followed by a bus journey along Marine Drive.
🚗 Parking
Street parking is available in the vicinity of Horseshoe Bay. Parking can be very busy, especially during peak season and weekends; arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.
